Greatest File Tools is designed to rank by being genuinely useful *and* privacy-forward.
What happens to my files?
- Your files are uploaded to temporary object storage only to run the tool.
- Outputs are stored briefly so you can download them.
- Everything auto-deletes after a short retention window (Free: hours, Pro: days).
What do you track?
- Tool usage events (tool slug, bytes in/out, duration, success/failure).
- Minimal request metadata for abuse prevention (IP, user-agent).
- For paid users: billing identifiers (e.g., Stripe customer id) and API key usage.
We do not sell file contents, and we don't run ad-targeting based on your files.
